Ministries is for you.
Alpha Ministries will help you
to enjoy the rest and peace that Jesus promised when he
told us to take his yoke and rest. Christianity is not
about working hard to get God to bless you. Rather it is
about, believing he has made you worthy, in Christ, and
resting from all self-effort to be worthy. Alpha
Ministries is dedicated to teaching and living the real
message of Christianity. It is about identifying the
real person that Christ has made you.
Understanding who you really
are allows you to enjoy a real sense of personal
security and significance. You can know you are loved
unconditionally, accepted just as you are, and
completely forgiven. You can enjoy a true sense of
importance with real meaning and purpose in your life,
and realize you are competent to fulfill that purpose.
The comfort of living with confidence and trust that you
are OK with God is based on what he has done for you,
in Christ, that you cannot do for yourself.
Once you understand the
unconditional love that God has for you and trust that
he has made you a new creation, you are actually free to
love others as Christ. Both of these concepts fulfill
the essence of what Jesus taught as the most important
commandments, upon which all others are based: You
should love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with
all your mind, and with all your soul; and you should
love others as yourself. |
